This is a b-level bar that is not pretentious at all and you can sit down, have drinks, and just be yourself. The kitchen is reasonably strong, and many meals are very tasteful. (Try their Fish and Chips!)

The place has the charm of a neighborhood bar. The staff is pretty friendly, too. Yet, this is also it's biggest weakness. The staff over caters to its regulars making newcomers feel like strangers too much. (Maybe they don't know that many newcomers do become regulars?) After about the fifth visit you would think the staff would treat you like a regular, right? A smile...a pleasant greeting....not having to chase them down for an order because they're yapping too much with a regular.

Still, its appeal is that you can be yourself here. It's the place to bring a friend for a drink and feel like you have the place to yourself. No one bothers you if you don't want to be bothered, and the karaoke is pretty fun, too.
