We spotted this restaurant from the freeway and decided to stop by for lunch, since it was also near a gas station which I needed to go to. The menu at the Farmhouse had a pretty good selection of standard breakfast/lunch/dinner entrees. There were some that were kind of different/unusual. Had the trout and eggs for breakfast-- excellent. Trout was perfectly seasoned and the texture was just right. Eggs were fresh. The hash browns it came with were also cooked perfectly. My husband had the chicken fried steak, and he says that it's the best one he's ever had. Price was probably slightly more than most diner/coffee shop-type restaurants, but this place it's definitely worth it.

we ate at this roadside restaurant a couple of weekes ago it looked interesting ,so i decided to take a look. after waiting about twentyminutes to place our order i was begining to wonder if i made the right choice. as i waited patiencely for our meal i noticed others were waiting along with us more than the usual wait ,but was most discouraging was when our hostess lead us to our table we sat our own selves down then she tossed our menues at us i dont know why . as for the food it was pretty regular. so our first experience will be our last.

Great food but the prices are way too high.

The prices have increased at least 50% in the past couple years. $10 is just too much to pay for a ham and cheese omelet.
