User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsMy wife and I have been dining at Palmie for a very long time. This is hands down the best French food in the Coachella Valley. The food served has always been scrumptious. Palmie is a place where the locals and Snowbirds often meet. The 2 cheese soufflee, watercress soup and amazing duck are to die for and the rest of the menu is simply excellent. We have ALWAYS received the most generous and welcoming service. This place is quite a gem.

We ate at Palmie Sat March 28. It was a disaster! We waited for our drinks wine and salads wayyyy too long. It took more than 1 hour for us to be served and one of us ordered a filet. You guessed it it was totally uncooked! She then asked for a glass of wine which we all agreed tasted like the house had watered it down. When the waiter returned with her steak recooked she asked for a different red wine....as he walked off he was laughing but I saw him. The food was MEDIOCRE the prices way too HIGH the service was HORRIBLE and I would NEVER recommend this restaurant to anyone. 5 nights in the Palm Desert area and the SOLE bad experience we had.

this restaurant is one of biggest ripoffs in the desert.the food is expensive and of mediocre quality.the wine is even more expensive. the quantity of food is sparce. we had to go to another restaurant to EAT after leaving with bill of 175.00 for 2 . this is one so called upscale restaurant you should avoid
