The address 47-900 is misleading and the map shows it wrong at 47 Portola Ave
the address is at 47900, 1 mile south.
I hope they are open when we stop by there in November, when the astronomers have their yearly event in Borrego.
We are coming for the model railroad train at the Zoo.

Excellent Zoo: The Living Desert Zoo is amazing. The Docents and the Volunteers are kind and very knowledgeable and the animals are very active for a change and almost can always be seen. The Wildlife show was also quite good too. The Zoo is very clean and even the Petting Kraal (a kind of Petting Zoo) which has many goats and sheep is clean too. The newest exhibit is the Giraffe and Ostrich exhibit and now you can see the new baby giraffe. The Discovery Room and Gecko Gulch are great for the kids and also educational and fun at the same time. The zoo also has a butterfly house that houses many different kinds of butterflies for everyone to enjoy.

Overall this zoo is amazing and should be visited by all!
