User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsMy husband and I ate at Peppercorn Grille last night. Everything was wonderful. The food was GREAT and the portions generous. Our server was Shannon and she was very good. Even the busboy rocked making sure our glasses were always full of water. We will eat here again..

I took my mom to Big Bear for her birthday weekend. We spent a lot of time trying to find the perfect restaurant. The atmosphere was nice and we expected a pleasant dinner. My mom ordered the steak with peppercorn finish and it was so peppery-hot she couldn't eat it! There were no accommodations made to bring her something else quickly, and she ended up eating just the microwaved baked potato and vegetables that came with the meal. When the bill came, the manager informed us that the owner's policy was to charge my mom for half of the price of the meal because she had eaten the potato and vegetables!! We paid $16.00 for that potato and vegetables and were treated like the whole situation was our fault. We will NEVER patronize that restaurant again!
User Rating: 4 out of 5 starsWas there at slow season, so no problem getting a seat without reservations. Good location with pleasant atmosphere. Waiter was attentive. A little pricey ($32 stuff salmon), but the food was excellent with a good portion. An excellent menu. I would highly recommend, if you don't mind the prices.
