User Rating: 2 out of 5 starsI was there with 22 of my friends. The meal and the service during the meal was excellent.
The issue was at the end, where a 20% sevice charge for tip was assesssed. We indicated that it should have been 18%, as i was told on the phone and what was on the menu, but the waiter insisted that this was standard. The tip was also calculated ont he total bill (including the tax).
This all may seem trivial (the bill was only $720), but the waiter complained and left us.
The manager on duty showed no concern, and NO ONE thanked us for the $850 that we ended up leaving for the bill.
If the owner of this establishment reads this, there may be some items in this post that you may want to address: you may have and idea why your restaraunt is more than 1/2 empty on a Saturday night.
The way we were addressed and handled at the end of the meal insures that you have lost many future customers.

So you gave us 2 stars because of 2% more that was added to your gratuity. I asked as some of you left how everything was and no one said a word. The restaurant being half full in August is normal for off season (summertime). You said the meal and the service was excellent but the waiter made a mistake at the end. But in reality it came down to the moneyâ¦..the 2% that was added to the tip and tax. Iâm sorry it happened. The waiter was warned and the check was fixed. The waiter also took the tip off completely and told you that you could leave whatever amount you felt was appropriate. I dont understand why you guys left the wiater over 20% tip anyway. I'm sorry we lost your business over such a trivial mistake the waiter made. Chef/Owner Vince Costa
