Worst French Meal Ever!: My boyfriend and I were excited to spend our first Valentine's Day dinner together at Cuistot. However, almost immediately we became disappointed. Our server obviously had no clue how to serve Champagne, she popped the cork and it flew up in the air with a very loud pop. This obviously set the tone for the rest of our evening. Not only was the service dreadful and inexperienced, the food was the very worst french food I have ever tasted. For a price of over $300.00 for two, not including the Champagne (we brought a bottle of imported french Champagne and paid a corkage fee of $30.00), we should have had one of the best meals ever tasted (at least in the state of California), but instead received the worst meal ever. Very disappointing.
Best in the desert: One of the finest restaurants in the Palm Springs area. I fine dine all over the United States and Cuistot is as good as it gets. Food, ambiance, and service is all top notch. I highly recommend Cuistot for an outstanding dining experience.
