All Down Hill after 4pm: I have lived here in this community since I was in the 6th grade ~ Del Taco ranked "My Favorite" place to eat. In March 1988, Naugles on Navajo Rd in Apple Valley, CA became DelTaco! This was an awsome event. Eating there for sometime now, it has went from the place to be to becoming the place I wish NEVER to be again. The made to order Mexican/American food, fast service and value place to be - is sadly no more. Now it is the same as everywhere else - if not worse. A dirty place with awful food and service, that finds themselfs short on supplies and good employees.

Returning Food to be Re-made: Please read through! This is a positive review...at least it has a happy ending.

Tonight, like many other late nights, I went through the drive-thru and ordered a cheeseburger, but when I got it home and looked at it, it was much too heavy on the sauce for my taste. So I drove back through a second time to return the food, and the second burger they made for me was absolutely perfect...I don't thnk I've seen them make a better burger, remade or not!

Not to mention how normally polite everyone is there, the lady at the window was very professional and even said she hoped I enjoyed this new burger as I was pulling away. First instinct is suspicion about that comment, but when I checked I was completely satisfied. I work in food service, so details are very evident to me; everyone makes mistakes, but it's how we deal with and respond to those mistakes that sets us apart.
It was good till the last bite.
