The Idle Spurs has a nice atmosphere. The food was okay, not great. The service was not what you would expect when paying 30 dollars a plate. Not very kid friendly. A nice night for a couple, the cocktails were good. Probably will not go back.
I LOVE Idle Spurs: I work near Barstow on a quarterly basis and the highlight of my trip is always a night out at Idle Spurs. The ribs are a little piece of heaven on earth and if you can manage to save room for dessert, the cobbler (any flavor) is amazing. They have an egg grinder for boiled egg on your salad. Where else can you get freshly ground egg AND pepper?
Idle Spurs: Very average. The last time that I went, years ago, there were dead bugs in the menu.
