Modglin, Nancy DVM - Holistic Options Veterinary

Dr. Modglin was WONDERFUL with our dog, Sissy, a doxie mix who was having severe pain and could barely walk. We had taken her to two other vets before our dog groomer told us to take her to Dr. Modglin. I was immediately impressed by the cleanliness of the office - you can eat off the floors! It smelled clean and fresh. The staff and Dr. Modglin were kind and gentle with our Sissy and with us. After six treatments Sissy is back to her old self. We are more than thrilled with the services and outcomes from Dr. Modglin's care.

In July 2008, my Golden "Lucy" came out of the pool and shook herself as usual... this time though she went through her back legs... and was not able to stand up anymore...
A rush to my local vet, did not help anything except for a diagnosis of..." I am sorry, but there is really nothing we can do... maybe we can do an MRI, and physical therapy..." My bill was already $375... I could just imagine what my next bill would have been...
I decided to not give up and try to find a local holistic vet here in the Palm Springs area... my closest option was Dr. Modglin in Redlands, about an hour drive... it was the best thing we ever did... Lucy was starting to get the feeling back in her legs and lower back after a few sessions, and I am really happy to say that after almost a year later, 9 acupuncture treatments, and of course quite a bit of massage and pure love... she is walking again, and seems to get stronger everyday!
Thanks to Dr. Nancy Modglin, my Lucy is almost back as new again ( OK... she is about 12 years old) ... and the cart I made out of desperation... is happily collecting dust. I have not been for an appointment for a while... time to schedule one!

My mom and I had spent years trying to find a vet we liked. after many tries, we finally found Dr. Modglin. We absolutely loved her. she is a great vet who will do anything for her clients. We had a cat who had become very sick and required extra care, she actually took him home for a night to make sure he was ok. We havn't gone to her for anything holistic yet, but have NO doubt we will be very happy with it. We would DEFINATELY reccomend this vet. she is absolutely wonderful.
