I bought some fire belly frogs here along with a heater they told me to get, well yesterday my son came running upstairs telling me the frogs were on fire cause their tank was smoking. We ran downstairs opened the tank and sure enough all of my frogs were dead the heater had malfunctioned causing water temp to soar above 100 degrees killing them instantly as they jumped into the water. I went to petsmart immediately with my poor frogs and still smoking heater, the store was closing I was crying and asked to speak to manager the woman locking the door was the manager I started telling her what had happened and she wouldnt even allow me to enter the store. The first words out of her mouth was do you have a receipt? not im sorry, oh thats horrible just wheres the receipt. She told me she couldnt replace the frogs without a receipt (which they make you sign those papers when you buy them so they have those ) and all she could do was exchange the heater.

what the hell am I gonna do with a heater and dead frogs? I am sickened by the lack of compassion or resolve this company has for the pets they sell, they are a pet store they made me sign a paper stating that I would care for them but when they sell me a faulty product that killed the same pets I agreed to take care of the say oh cant help you without a receipt, isnt it also their responsibility to sell me things that wont hurt them? They're damn lucky I was home and that heater didnt burn my house to the ground. I called another store and they also said there was nothing they could do since they only guarantee their frogs for 14 days, thats against sickness not heater murder. I will never again shop with this company. I have over 100.00 in frog supplies Im left with and no frogs, they are however willing to SELL me more frogs......assholes.

This is the only petstore I shop at. It is clean and the employees there love their job. I have never ran into one who has an attitude. Cant say that about PetCo. Petsmart is clean and always has "oops " supplies handy for your doggies. Keep up the good job guys!!
