I was quoted a price by one dealer on the phone. I hurried down there only to be told that the dealer that I had spoken to was gone, even though I made an appointment. When I told the manager the price that the first dealer quoted me he told me that he had been sitting next to that dealer and that he had never quoted me that price! I picked out a great Toyota. I had a really nice dealer then they switched to a super aggressive, high pressure, fast talking manager. An even slicker financier scared me into buying thousands of dollars of unnecessary insurance by using scare tactics, such a showing me a picture of a totaled car, etc. I bought the car and three days later Igot a call saying that the contract was going to be changed and that I needed to pay more a month. I was already over $100 and some dollars over my limit. I took the car back and cussed them out. They also pretended that they were Christians and actually talked about the church that they went to.This dealership is HIGH PRESSURE and SLICK; BEWARE!
My car was due for first oil change, made an appt., showed up early, and got it back damaged 45-50 minutes later. While rotating the tires, they damaged two of the rims. Now there trying to say it was curb damage. All you have to do is look at the direction of the scratches to realize it was dropped. Waited two days for them to call me back, and not one call. Called Toyota/Scion to file a complaint, and now have to wait for another two days for a response. They told me they do "walk arounds" before taking the cars in their care, and they did no such thing. Otherwise, if the rims were damaged beforehand, it would have been noted on the "service order". I explained I just wanted my car back in the same condition as I gave it to them, and wanted my rims replaced or repaired, that's it. Accidents happen I know that, be HONEST, OWN UP to it, and CORRECT the problem. Honest consumers deserve honest dealerships!! This was my first Toyota product and it will be my last. Enjoy the car, hate the crooks! I should have went to Honda..."Caveat Emptor!"
