Great cornbread bad service!: My family went to this restaurant on mothers day this year and although the restaurant is great beautiful apperance.....cute little bronze pig at entry we were so disappointed with the service. We went later in the night and so im sure our server was tired but as i am a bartender and in the service industry you have to make sure to please the last customer just as much as the first. our server came around but 2 times didnt remember some of our order didnt ask about dessert didnt even say thank you at end of night it hurts me to say that although i tipped the standard 15 percent being a bartender i usually tip around 50 (what goes around comes around) but this was one time i didnt even want to give 15! The food was ok bothing to rave about other than the cornbread the spinich dip is watery and mediocre at best all in all it makes for nice ambiance
OK kind of generic: Been here a couple times, I would definately stick with the BBQ items, had a ribeye that had no real flavor. This is a very nice fun restaurant with average food.
I can't believe this hasn't been rated yet: This is an incredible hidden treasure. It is owned by the same people as Babe's in Palm Springs and Slim Piggens in San Bernardino. Some of the best pork barbeque you ever had --- the ribs are just incredible. My kids love the burgers. My favorite is the Candied Yams (Sweet Potatoes). You've got to see the New Mexico Meatloaf to believe it. And, they homebrew their own Root Beer.
