I just wanted to warn everyone this this site NO LONGER TAKES OUTSIDER TESTERS FOR THE NCCT.
Please, do not even bother. Franciel was very rude to me, and I gave her that attitude right back in end. At least the help desk was very polite.
But if you want to take a cheaper course, please consider Moreno Valley Riverside Community College HET82 class. It's 6 months long, four hour lab days, two hour regular days, two days a week, and one 4 hour day at the hospital a week halfway through the program. This is good for any parent struggling to get through school and into a career. Please also entirely disregard NCCT as a company, as their customer service staff are also very rude and have a history of being rude. Please consider AMT for your testing site.
I have to agree with the last posting regarding the phlebotomy course, it sucked all you get is part of what it's going to take to pass the state exam, administration can care less, and their attitudes and work ethics suck, besides taking some months for an externship whis is needed before they will submit your application to the state of california. You truly get what you pay for.
Worst School in Riverside, CA: U.S. College is the worst school ever!!!! Their Phlebotomy Tech program is horrible!!! They teach their students only how to pass their State Exam and then it takes over a month before going to externship!!!! The teachers are horrible and the Administrative staff could careless about their students!!!!! DO NOT ATTEND THIS SCHOOL!!!

I went to U.S. Colleges and I think I received a great education. The instructor (Alan) was excellent and the staff was very helpful. The externships were delayed but I was informed before enrolling and they have added many more externships. I only had to wait 3 weeks for mine and if I was willing to do another shift or drive a little farther, I would not have had to wait at all. There is now only a slight wait to extern. I was taught not only what I needed to pass the national certification exam, but also what I needed to succeed in this field. They did my resume and cover letter as well as handled all the steps necessary for state and national certification. I am so glad I went to this school.
