I recently had lunch there. Their service was HORRIBLE. There were only two other patrons dining so it wasn't busy at all. The service was slow, we waited forever for our food. The waiter wasn't attentive at all. We had to ask him directly for refills on drinks and extra plates. He messed up on our checks. I don't know how they can stay in business with the poor service they provide.

My experience at Scarcellas was an excellent one.
Family restaurant, fresh sauces, dressing and economical prices.
My parents use to take me to Scarcella's when I was a child and on a trip back to Temecula, I had a chance to go visit.
Pizza was excellent, Seafood pollo pesce dish was extremely good.
If your around Temecula go to Scarcella's!

I stopped in at a seemingly charming neighborhood Italian restaurant with my out-of-town friend. The wine was pleasant and the waitress was so friendly and cheerful. I was expecting a memorable experience - and it was memorable but not in a "good" way. The first hint was when we began to slice into our overdone chicken in a barely palatable
pasta sauce. It was downhill from then on and culminated with an unpleasantness with the bill which they would not even deign to rectify. I would not go there again.
