I have been staying at this hotel for the past 2 months, and I have almost nothing but praise for this hotel.
This hotel is still in process of coming up to full compliance with Holiday Inn standards, but they have done a lot of work...Full breakfast bar (hot food -sausage/bacon, eggs, bisquit+gravy), and rooms have been brought up to HI standards with the exception of still needing the LCD televisions.
Ammenities available include High speed wireless internet, laundry room, outside pool (clean), and they're still adding.
I have come to know the staff quite well, including one of the managers. The front desk staff is always willing to help you with whatever you need, and the lady that maintains the breakfast bar in the morning always has a smile and welcome for you.
The only problem I had with this HI is on Fridays and Saturdays. The HI has meeting rooms on the second floor, and sometimes the parties there are loud, and if there are children with the parties (and there usually is), the parents let them run up and down the hallways. I wouldn't necessarily count this against the hotel, but if you plan on staying on a weekend - ask for a third floor room.
This HI is pretty well located...It is right next to the 60 freeway (although you cant hear it), and there is plenty of food establishments around. There is also a bowling alley right next door (walking), so if you get bored go on over.
i wouldn't stay here: the bed was uncomfortable. a tiny bathroom. breakfest was bad. front desk wasn't very nice. had bad chicoes of stations to watch from tv! i wouldn't stay here again.
