I commute alot, and unfortunately spend too much time with fast food that encompasses areas in the triangle of San Diego, Palm Springs, and Los Angeles.
I wanted to comment on THIS place because the service is the best I've ever seen. Drive through and dine-in both have great people at all times of the day. The only annoyance I ever had was when they had no coffee ready at 2am, but the girl helpfully suggested an iced coffee. My most recent visit was yesterday afternoon. All I wanted was a burger and the the manager compassionately wanted to add a glass of water ... probably thinking I couldn't afford a drink. I get smiles and caring attitude every time I stop here.

Overall I like the Jack In The Box restaurant chain, but ironically one of the worst places I've ever been is the location on San Marcos Blvd near the 78 in North San Diego County. Don't ever go THERE The difference between these two places is mind-boggling.
