Took my truck in because of a rough idle and I had a misfire while driving. Also, my engine light came on. My truck had 200,000 miles on it. Their compression check said that #2 cylinder had a bad reading because of burned valves. Then they told me I need a head job with new spark plugs for $3400. They charged me diagnosis fee of $120 that would contribute to the repair. OK fine â¦
I then took my truck too a different repair facility for a second opinion and the tech told me the same thing. Power Toyota was telling me the truth ⦠but he also told me take my truck home, install new premium spark plugs ($13.95) and my problems would go away. He continued to tell me that if the bad cylinder ever becomes a problem, give them a call otherwise just drive it 100,000 more miles and then have the whole motor rebuilt for a little over the price of PowerâÂÂs estimate!
Spent $120 for information (but not the whole story) at Power when later that day I got the same info plus more at some place else for free. I fixed my problem myself for $13.95. The bad cylinder wasnâÂÂt as bad as Power made it out be. Engine light went out and the engine runs smooth as silk.
Power had my truck for 3 hours by the time I got a diagnosis. I found a mom and pop garage that did everything that Power did in 15 minutes.
1 Power Toyota did not lie to me or try to mislead me.
2 Power Toyota has more interest helping them selves than you.
BTW ⦠THEY FORGOT TO WASH MY TRUCK. Other Toyota dealers wash you car every time you take it in.-

I took my Prius here to get an oil change after getting a coupon in the mail for a discount. After leaving the dealership and making another stop for groceries, a warning light came on. I took the car back to Power Toyota. First they claimed I had put diesel in my car instead of unleaded gas. They said they would drain the tank the next morning because it was almost closing time. I then found out the station I had bought gas from did not even sell diesel! Angry with Power Toyota's incorrect diagnosis, I called the next morning when they suddenly changed the diagnosis to an electrical problem that would cost over $600 to fix. I was about to pay them the money to fix it until I read another review online where someone had a similar problem with oil change then warning light from this SAME dealership. I decided I would not let them touch my car. I picked it up the next day, and mysteriously the warning light had disappeared. My car is running perfectly and continues to have no problems 1 month later. I will never take my car to this dishonest dealership again for service.

This is the worst dealership to buy a car from. I will never ever buy a toyota from those guys. they are liars, very deceptive and try to rip you off in every way possible. Buttom line, Don't buy a toyota here.
