About:The decor here is definitely unique, with World War II paraphernalia and antique signs covering the walls among many other interesting artifacts. There are tons of beers from all over the world available, and it is a good thing because the dizzying decor may drive you to drink. There are several rooms, as well as an outdoor patio where one can soak up the Costa Mesa sun. It is a little bit of a dive bar, but the decor makes up for any seediness.

yes, it's a dirty dive. but I see that as a plus- the douchebags and entitled OC hobags don't show up there. Nobody goes there to put on a show and impress people- they go there to drink beer and have a good time. The staff is great- the regulars like Old Man Bill ('whatever') are awesome. and yes- there are attractive people there- not a high percentage, but they show up, and they're not a-holes.
my only complaints: don't put an almost-empty glass down because the staff clears the tables constantly. don't drop something because you're not gonna want to use whatever it was again after it touches that floor. I do wish they'd dust the lamps and other things hanging from the ceiling- I'm always worried that something is gonna fall in my beer.

With all the other fun bars so close, this place has come to be the bar for losers.

Glad to know the old Goat is still around. I worked there in 89-91 while stationed at MCAS Tustin. If you don't like beer then don't go.
