User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsWe've tried every sushi restaurant in the Costa Mesa/Newport area and this was our favorite. The sushi is unbelievably fresh and the staff makes you feel right at home. The clean and friendly environment keeps us coming back for more. The happy hour drink specials from 5:30-7pm are pretty hard to beat....$1.50 beer and wine!!

I went to Tabent today cuz I saw good reviews here but it was little disappointing. Their service was very slow. I had to wait for food for 30 minuets and my last order did not served at the end.(they probably forgot)
Sushi is OK but their sushi is not as good as real what I had in Japan. They slice fish too thick and some of them are not fresh.
But except slow service they are friendly and have good atmosphere.
They are good sushi bar but it is over rated here. -

The best sushi in Orange County: Like: The sushi is well prepared with exotic presentation, freshness and quality.
Dislike: The service is little slow but understandable for making sushi.
