THIS PLACE is PHENOMENAL! My 4 year old just LOVES it and constantly asks me “Are we going to FYI today?” Owners Stacey & Lisa couldn't be more patient & wonderful with the kids! The computer knowledge she has received is outstanding. She is now doing 2nd to 3rd grade level computer work, and she won’t start Kindergarten until the fall of 09! She absolutely LOVES the art work and especially the ceramics. It's great how they mix it up as the child NEVER gets bored! It was so amazing to watch how excited and proud she was recently as she point out her ceramic mask at the FYI’s March 2009 Art Exhibit. I know with the economy we can have a knee jerk reaction to cut such programs. But I had her miss one month in October and that was a HUGE mistake! She missed it terribly not to mention we recently read a study stating such programs can actually save us money down the road if our children are VERY prepared for Kindergarten through third grade. Apparently the chance of having to pay for more expensive outside programs or tutors later on becomes almost non existent when this period has been well developed. So we definitely LOVE this ADDED benefit too!
