| About: | Spice Thai is not really conveniently located by any major attraction or freeway. Coming here is like you've found your way around in Lake Forest. The exterior blends in with the very ordinary shopping center that houses it, but the interior is bright and pleasant. The restaurant gets packed during lunch and dinner time. Crying Tiger is what everyone raves about, while Penang Beef and Green Curry are also very popular. Aside from the usual, try something different! Chef Tuey, who gained a cooking degree in Thailand, will not disappoint. Kai Yang (a chicken dish) was dried out chicken--sauce was ok. I would not order this again.
Crying Tiger (beef dish) was better. Very good lime spiced sauce with that.
Got both as take out. We don't live far away, and both dishes were stone cold when I got them home. Absolutely stone cold.
Spring rolls were very good, and the sauce for them was excellent.
Will probably try again. Ordered both dishes medium spicy--and it was perfect for us.-

Best Thai food I have had in Southern OC. Friendly consistant atmosphere. Try the Yellow Chicken Curry although everything is delicious. I brought a Co-worker who is Thai and a vegetarian, he was impressed with the selection and the freshness of the food. What can I say...I am a regular!
