| About: | Enjoy fresh seafood, tender steaks, Kobe burgers, huge salads and over a dozen Pupu's (appetizers) with an Island Inspired Flare and an eye toward value without sacrificing quality. Quite simply put, the food is great!! Don the Beachcomber will take you back to Polynesia in a heavy Tiki themed dining room and banquet rooms complete with waterfalls reminiscent of vintage Hawaii. The bartenders at The Tiki bar will craft some of the most delicious and creative tropical cocktails and martinis complete with the little umbrella! A wine list with at least 20 wines by the glass invites exploration. Banquet facilities and for 20 to over 200 in a fun and unique tropical setting with plenty of free parking. While the average cost of our steak and seafood offerings with a drink and tip range from $31 to $50 we also offer a selection of entree sized salads, and three burgers featuring Kobe beef, broiled chicken, or grilled giant Portobello mushroom for $8 to $14 per item. |

User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsToday I stopped in Don the Beachcomber on PCH and was Very Impressed with the Awesome Hawaiian Decor. I am a professional local artist who sells my paintings at local art galleries so I am very picky when it comes to fine details. I also am a professional banquet/caterer for movie stars by trade. I was most impressed with the friendly service from the manager when I told him I was looking for work. :) :)

My family had brunch there yesterday, limited brunch food, but good food, entertainment was decent too. Kona is now "Don the Beachcombers" in Huntington Beach. I think what is tacky, is when an investor buys out an establishment, but doesn' bother to fix it up it went from Sam's to Kona to Don the Beachcomber in a very short time. It's still Sam's Seafood on the outside and inside, quite worn and needs sprucing up to become more current.
