| About: | A bit of living history in heart of San Juan Capistrano's Los Rios Historical district, the Ramos House was built in 1881 and retains many of its original features. Keeping with this historical theme, chef/owner John Q. Humphreys lives onsite and prepares everything from scratch - the house even has its own herb garden and wine cellar. Contemporary American fare is served up with a southern twist, and the menu changes daily ensuring the freshest of in season specialties. A truly delightful culinary and historical experience. |

There not many times I give away 5 stars but this is one of those times. Breakfast usually is never as fun as dinner and then there's Ramos House. Although expensive by breakfast standards it is well worth the price. A must try is the quail eggs, there amazing. And also the bloody mary. EVERYTHING IS GOOD
They ripped us off - Tacking on an additional $63 tip after we had left and already signed our check.
great great great great great!! I love this place so much! whenever i get the chance to go, i do. i live right down the street from it, and i wish i could go more often, but its a but too expensive for a daily thing haha. but totally worth it to get every once in a while =)
