User Rating: 4 out of 5 starsThe traffic was horrible, so we pulled off the freeway and stumbled to this jewel of a restaurant. We dined on the patio and were treated like gold. The lunch was the best I had this year. Duck salad with berries and a raspberry sauce, my wife had the escargots and a special ahi burger. The next time in Capistrano I will return .
User Rating: 1 out of 5 starsRacist???: On the final morning of a three day stay in San Juan Capistrano my fiance and I stopped in for brunch on Sunday afternoon. We were seated right away and treated kindly by the young staff. The crowd is Upper class WE are upper middle class, disguised as lower middle class "hippies" The owners were obviously scoping the place out and quickly engaged in conversation with some customers seated to the left of us in the patio. He was a Tall Italian or Armenian, she was a Tall thin Barbie doll. He was speaking loudly abut "my people" referring to them as "Those mexicans" saying statements such as "Yeah, we have one here... but all she knows how to say is "no`".and so on. so I was very offended and expected more from this place considering it is in the heart of a city founded by "my people" Later before i caught the train I saw these two Owners again walking towards me in the parking lot and the Barbie doll purposely bumped me on a empty sidewalk after recognizing me. this was my second experience with racial misconduct in SJC. my rating for this restaurant is an F!!!

My Favorite new restaurant.: Great Steak,Great wine,Friendly service in a beautiful cozy restaurant. My new favorite place. I eat out three nights a week.
