User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsI've been a boarder at Tar for more than 2 years and have nothing but good things to say about the facilities, the trainers and the management. Added bonus: Very nice people board their horses there and let's not even mention the miles and miles of easily accessible trails.

Don't know who Ricky is, but I've been at Tar 10 years and don't have the problems he claims to have. Without exception, all boarding facilities have poor hay or other issues at times, but Tar has been on top of things. Maybe Ricky would rather feed his horse hay cubes like some other facilities in SJC do. If Ricky didn't have many shavings, it's because Ricky didn't buy them. Obviously, this person has an ax to grind for some reason and his comments are inaccurate.

I Would not recommend this stable! They ask for first and last deposit and keep the deposit when you move out. Low grade hey and little to no shavings provided. Stalls are the worst Ive seen, Very dirty and owner doesn't care!
