My first and last visit to Dr. David A Johnson was terrible! Dr. Johnson was friendly and explained the adjustments he was making. However, the visit was short and very rushed. Dr. Johnson made two adjustments to my neck, and attempted an adjustment on my back, quickly coming to an end. My appointment was scheduled for 4:30 PM and should have ended around 5:00PM. The actual appointment went from approx. 4:39 PM to 4:48 PM. I had to request electric stimulation as Dr. Johnson tried to rush me out of his office.
The massage was thirty minutes long and 30 minutes of confusion. The Massage Therapist did not perform a deep tissue massage; in fact, I am not quite sure what she performed. It felt as though she was petting my back, gently. I asked her to apply more pressure and her response was I will, but she never did. Her attitude was careless and rude. she too seemed hurried to get out of the office. At the end of the 30 minutes she quickly vanished with a fast "take care!" I was not even sure if the massage was actually over, let alone I was not certain when the real massaging actually started.
All in all, this was a terrible experience. The office refused to refund my credit card. I feel completely ripped off. In addition, I was charged $55 for an adjustment and 30 minute massage, though the website offers $45 for adjustment and 1 hour massage.

Sorry sore and sorry dr johnson is a great chiropracter. Your the only one who says otherwise. I have been going to him for 15 years he is a great doctor and his staff is marvelous. I highly recomend this doctor
Dr. Johnson and his staff are excellent. I would highly recommend this office to anyone. I have used his services for over 10 years and have never been disappointed. He listens to your needs and educates you on treatment needed. He is professional and genuinely cares for his patients.

Because of Privacy regulations I can not directly discuss this or any patient. I would like to say for the record that this patient got exactly what he paid for; a thorough examination, a proper report of findings and more treatment than we charged him for. As for the coupon, we do have a coupon but this patient never mentioned the coupon to us. Ralphs does not give you the second dozen of eggs for free if you don't give them the coupon. My office has been in Rancho Santa Margarita since 1992, we have not existed that long by being rude to people and short changing them on their treatment. Dr. Johnson
1) There was no proper report of findings given to me, unless you are referring to when I described how I injured myself. In addition, 10 minutes is not enough time for me to complete a college homework assignment, yet you somehow can manage to do a thorough examination and a proper report of findings? Are you kidding? I even had to request E-stimulation. I suggest that you spend a lot more time with new patients; perhaps 30 â 45 minutes, at least. 2) As stated before, the massage was hardly a massage. To be quite frank, the masseuse was very strange and uncomfortable to be around. Though, my main concern is that I did not get the type of massage that I requested and paid for. 3) Ralphs would have probably been kind enough to return my call. Your practice, on the other hand, has failed to do so and it's been over 2 weeks. 4) I did not write this review so that you could defend your practice, but more so to imply ways in which you could improve it. From the receptionist to the masseuse, for me, this was a terrible experience- a complete waste of time and money. I have also now found a great chiropractor; they are out there, but you, by all means, did not demonstrate being one of them!
