    This is a pizzeria with a true New York, New Jersey style pizza. I love the food, the prices and the attitude or mood of the place. As I lived in Manhattan for a while a few years back I miss the great food that you could find anywhere but the chain restaurants. Rocco's is just like one of those local Pizza places. If you are licky enough to be served by Rocco himself you will know what a N.Y./N.J. style pizza spot is like He comes across as gruff, impatient and has that deep, tough in your face voice that the locals back east all sound like. The difference is that behind that personna is a true pizza restaurant professional with a good heart and a want to make the customer get a great meal at a very fair price. And he accomplishes it every day. No prententiousness, no Soup Nazi (from Seinfeld's), just a hard working man and his staff pumping out wonderful pizza's, sandwiches and pasta at a great price in a very clean environment. They have a wonder plaza to eat outside in and a collection of two person per table inside dining. If you love real pizza the way it should be made for a reasonable price, this is the spot.

    If you want to look at their menu, go to www.roccosbestpizza.net. I haven't been able to find it anywhere on the web, so I finally called and got the URL from the not-too-gracious man who answers the phone. The pizza is great though, and if you live in Ladera Ranch and you want it delivered,you're in for a treat.

    Superb: We had take out, so service and ambiance are not applicable.

    Simply, the best pizza in South Orange County.

    The Garlic Supreme (Garlic, Basil, Olive Oil) is the best pizza I have ever had, anywhere.
