This family style restaurant features the best homemade ice cream in Anaheim and it serves fresh strawberry Belgian waffles, homemade soups, salads, gourmet burgers, succulent barbecue ribs, and tender prime rib.
Tiffy's is a restaurant right on Katella Blvd., close to the Disney parks and lots of hotels. We decided to have dinner there the third night of our trip, as we finished at one of the parks and decided to come back to the hotel and rest.
It took about 5 minutes before we were seated and handed some menus. We didn't take long to decide what to eat, but it took another 10 minutes before anyone acknowledged us. Once the waitress came over though, the service improved. The food was fine - - chain restaurant type fare -- and the prices about commensurate with what the Disney area costs.
Be aware that they only take cash, Visa and Mastercard. The woman in front of us in the pay line only had a Discover card, which they don't take, and didn't know until after they'd eaten. (I'm not sure how the problem was resolved.)
Not that graet: We had our lunch on 5/12.
That was around 2:00pm, and not many customer there, but we had to wait a very long time for our food; two kids meal and a pork chop. And the pork chop so thin and dry. When I paid my bill, I had to wait very time again for someone to show up to collect my money.
What's my suggestion? if you have time and don't care the food, go for it.
Absolutely the best place around Disneyland!: I have been going to Tiffy's for over 30 years, and have never been disappointed!
My husband and I just returned from a four day trip to Disneyland, and ate at Tiffy's four times, twice for breakfast, once for lunch, and once for ice cream sundaes. Each time we were impressed with the quality of the food and the size of the portions. Their "two scoop" sundaes were huge...about the size of four scoops anywhere else.
My family has always made a point of leaving Disneyland to have ice cream sundaes at Tiffy's. It's been a tradition for over 30 years, and will continue to be!
