this place gives great haircuts. i got my first haircut here. cookie always gives me exactally what i want and at a great price. and really since when do ppl seriously care what the place looks like when your getting great cuts at awesome prices? the place is small and humble. its not one of those fancy overdone overpriced places. everytime i go somewhere other tan hairbears i dont like what i get.

I have been going to Hair Bears forever!! I started going there as a kid and have continued through my adult life. They did my hair for my wedding and pretty much every important day in my life. I love, love, love them!

I took my son here for his first haircut based on the mostly positive reviews. I live in Irvine, but the only children's salons in Irvine seem to be Rainbow Kids, which got really bad reviews. So I decided to go to Hair Bears. My son's haircut turned out okay, but I didn't like the experience. When I first walked in and asked (politely) if they take a picture of the haircut, the stylist said, "We take a Polaroid, but it's not like we stand around taking pictures." Um, okay. It's not like I asked for a full-on photo shoot. She was pretty rude. My mom was with me and she thought we should just leave because of the stylist's attitude, but I figured we came all the way here, let's just do the haircut. My son cried the whole time and whenever I expressed concern, the stylist basically just rolled her eyes and was like, "He's your first child, right?" I would expect a little more understanding/patience from a stylist who specializes in CHILDREN. It was over pretty fast, thankfully, and the haircut was okay, but I really didn't appreciate the stylist's attitude. Overall the place was...sorry to say, kind of trashy and non-upscale. Would not recommend!
