A good friend refered me to Premium Mattress Outlet when I told him we had to get a new mattress. He said this store was the best and the had the lowest prices cause he and his girl friend had gone to like eight mattress stores!
My wife and I drove down to their store this past weekend and as we walked in my wife said it was the cleanest and nicest store she had been in for a while.
Rick - one of the owners asked a few questions to help us narrow down our search (they have something like 70 mattresses on the showroom floor to try) then lead us to a set and invited us to lay down on it as a starting point. My wife loved this mattress but I didn't want to be one of those "easy" customers and say yes to the first bed we tried. So I asked what other beds he would recomend? He explained he would recomend a few other sets to try but he would not pick one for us because he could only guess what we would find comfortable (wow - an honest answer). Rick then took us to three more sets to try out for comfort - two that were cheaper and one just a little more money than the first one we tried. He then explained in detail the pros and cons of all four beds. He explained all four would do a good job of supporting my wife and me but the comfort would be different. Rick also explained the higher priced sets would last longer and stay more comfortable longer because they had higher quality upholstery (makes sense) but the choice was ours based on our comfort. He answered all of my remaining questions and invited my wife and me to try the beds again and he would give us some time to talk it over.
We decided to buy the first mattress set he had us try (it was the best set for the money I wanted to spend). We wrote it up and set a delivery date and two hour window in writing! (They even detail on the sales ticket the size of your set in inches and how tall your boxspring is incase this is a new size - which it was for us!!!)
We are looking forward to our new Aireloom California king set to be delivered next Saturday!!!
What a nice experience - and I really understand what I bought.
I will tell my friends and family about this store because I know how they will be treated and they won't be cheated.
A good friend told us about Premium Mattress and they were right. We talked to both owners and had so much fun, and learned a lot about mattress too.
They both used to run mattress factories and you could tell they really enjoyed helping people understand about mattresses, they gave me a good answer for every question I had and they asked me questions to make sure I got what I wanted.
This was a great experience, I know I made a good choice!
While our in-store experience was good (the service was courteous and friendly), our after-sale experience was absolutely horrible. We bought a brand new Spring Air king size, firm mattress set from them in March 2008. After less than 2 months, the mattress starts to sag and makes loud noises every time we turn in bed. We promptly called Premium Mattress and were told, âSorry, there is nothing we can do. You will have to deal with the manufacture.â When we asked them to help mediate between us and the manufacture, they flatly refused and shrugged off all responsibility. Our whole experience with Premium Mattress feels like a deal with a used car man; all nice and sweet at first to make the deal but then act like they donât know you if you have a problem later.
I would stay clear of this place and will tell all my friends and family to do the same.

This sounds like a jealous competitor, or someone who got a stain on their mattress which will end the warranty! Everybody knows the manufacturer makes the decision about warranty work not the retailer.
Oh Please, We bought two sets from them (the owners work the store every day). We had a problem with one and they sent a report in to the factory. The factory called to inspect the matt - set an appointment - came out and looked at our set - a week later we got a letter from the factory to contact Premium Mattress Outlet to arange fo a replacement mattress. Premium called us before we could call them to tell us they had gotten the same letter and to come in at our leasure! They then delivered the new matt and took the old mattress away at NO CHARGE! We could not be any more impressed by true customer service!!! This bad review mus be from another store or from a customer who didn't want to follow the rules like everyone else has to. They think they should only get their way. These guys are great!!! They make sure you know what you are buying. They are experts!
I don't get this at all - We bought a queen set from Premium Mattress and they explained the warrarnty how everything works in case a problem comes up - that an ispector would come out and give a report to the manufacturer and they would decide based on that report. Seems pretty simple to me. This complainer wanted the cart before the horse - they wanted the store to decide for the factory. Factorie just won't allow that to happen - they have to run their business not some store telling them what to do!
