inside smelled bad like burnt oil,

A lot of people love Zankou's food, but complain about time for some reason. I have been going to Zankou for over 8 years now and never have they "lagged" it, as others say. Even if they do, I rather have my food five minutes later and have it well cooked and not get sick later! I am so glad I was introduced to Zankou because I will no longer eat at places that are extremely busy that they rush food. I used to spend over $40 dollars in California Pizza Kitchen and their food would be rushed so I would get sick later. Seriously, once I had the pizza with the chicken on it and it was barely cooked and I don't even want to get into what happend there. Bottom line Zankou=cheap and tasty!!!!=]

I love Zankou Chicken!!! I have been going to this place for over 10 years. I introduced all my friends to Zankoo and not one does not like the food. The chicken is tasty, tender, and absolutely delicious. Eventhough I live down in Trabuco Canyon, I make an effort to hit this place every so often.
