Wow! Never thought I could have so much fun bowling! This place was a great idea-- the combination of an upscale bar with the timeless fun bowling is a WIN!
and,omg, those mini-burgers were perfect :)
If there is a thing called bourgeois bowling, this would be the classic example.
School Girl #1: "Would you like some JD on the rocks sir?"
GT: "Certainly madam. Shaken not stirred please." As I am putting on my cool trendy loafers, instead of your typical bowling alley clown shoes.
So I dropped about $50 on two rounds of bowling, shoes and two drinks. So what? I got to see that chick from the Hills's autographed bowling pin at the front door. Also not to mention high school looking girls wearing short skirts and knee high socks serving you drinks. Hmmm, definitely a relief from the fat chicks that were hogging up the lane next to us. The loungy seats in each lane are definitely nice if you want to kick back and flirt with a date or someone you want to make a move on.
We LOVE this place; clean, elegant, a great place for a teen birthday party (or any age for that matter!)
I wouldn't spend the money for kids under 6 or 7 though... they wouldn't appreciate it - for the money you'd spend.
