User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsEveryone in my family has been to the Majestic Ventura Theater at one time or another. It's ALWAYS great, and they are always working at making it even better. From buying tickets to the actual show, everyone is helpful, and no matter where you are in the theater, the view is the best. It's a thrill to drive by the theater and check out the marquee to see a favorite band coming. Danzig will be there next month, and I'm calling for tickets now!

I can't say the place isn't beautiful on the inside. It's big and spacious and they rent out for private parties for $7,500 a night which includes a profesional sound system, mic, an operator, green room, kitchen, several levels, a balcony, a large stage, cocktail tables and chairs and more. They only think is ... it smells dank. The smell of moisture and dampness is so strong (even though they say they had the carpets replaced) that it's overwhealming. It's a great place for a concert and such but not so much for a private event.
