Went there for my 17th wedding anniversary. I loved everything about this place. Great good, great service at the perfect pace. The staff is very friendly and the the decor is very charming and warm. They even had a belly dancer come out for a while she was awesome. Prices are spot on with the quality of food. Enjoy!!
Epic Place, great food, Awesome Staff, Great Enviroment- Thats the complete packaged
What a disappointment for our first and only dining experience at Jonathan's. We changed our Saturday evening reservations from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. We were told that they were having an "event", and our table would be in the back room. The back room was short on space an ambience. Our waiter was attentive and helpful with a wine selection. We ordered our dinners. Out of a party of four, 2 people ordered pasta, which was undercooked and the other 2 ordered fish, which they said was average. What really made this evening was the "event". Jonathan's turns into a night club on Saturday nights. The place was booming with extremely loud music with bouncers at the door and masses of people.
Gentleman beware! One of the gentlemen in our party excused himself to use the men's room and was stopped by the waiter. He was told that he would have to use the "Porta potty" outside of the restaurant. The 2 bathroom facilities "in" the restaurant were for women only! He told the waiter, "I just paid for dinner in your restaurant, and I am not going to use a porta potty." Anxious to leave the noisy restaurant we paid the bill... we waited and waited for our change. The waiter assumed the change was his tip ($60.00). When we asked for our change he was surprised. We waited and waited again...the waiter came back to the table to ask us how much money did we give him. Never again.
