Brought my Lab in with a tumor on her side. Office performed a test without discussing cost. I left with a $200.00 bill a pet that was now bleeding from test. This vet did not offer any kind of bandage to help with blood loss. The only thing recommended was the starting cost of $2000.00 surgery in which thet did not have a diagnosis for. No thank you. I left with blood dripping from my Lab.
I went to another vet were they performed a X-ray. They reviewed my options and cost after viewing x-rays and a couple test. Four months later our Lab is doing fine. The total cost was $960.00, about $1200.00 less than Valley Vet.
If you still decide on Valley Vet you better make sure everything is clearing explained before your dog steps behind the door.
I've been going to this vet's office since 1995. They've grown in the time I've been with them. There customer service has gone to crap because of there popularity and they are overpriced. I've never had a problem with any procedures but after they get your money to pay for there treatments the staff is VERY unhelpful, and IF you Dr. is not in you have to wait until they get back the following week or BEG to have them talk to another doc about your situation. I will never go there again.
It is clear when I visit the office or call on the phone, these people really do care a great deal about the pets. You don't feel like it is a "business". I love the separate entrances and waiting areas for dogs and cats too. Makes for a less stressful visit for my cat and for me!

Some people simply love to complain. Vets, as a matter of routine, remain in the clinic an additional 1-2 hours daily (of their own unpaid time) writing up medical charts and calling clients about cases. Emergencies and serious medical conditions do take top priority. How often, if ever, does your physician personally call you to discuss your health? Does your lawyer ever forget to bill you for advice and consultations over the phone? Advice from a doctor who is unfamiliar with your pet's medical history and has not conducted a complete medical exam can be very dangerous (as well as illegal). As for being overpriced, you are simply incorrect (as is your grammar). Get multiple estimates and you will discover the truth. Ignorance is no excuse for slander. Itâs a great clinic with a dedicated and compassionate staff.
