Wow, this is how a restaurant should be! Great food and the attentive wait staff keep me coming back to the Palace. Any time I come up to Santa Barbara, I plan on dining here. The drinks are great and the Cajun style really is a treat, the area doesn’t offer much in this method of cooking.

I usually order the blackened catfish and always have the flash fried artichokes for an appetizer. I’m usually disappointed with the vegetables that most restaurants serve with the main course, but not here. The grilled squash and new potatoes are excellent.

If you want a special treat, go for the bread pudding with whiskey cream sauce as your dessert.

Even if it is busy, they don’t ignore the customers waiting to get in. We were standing in line outside and they brought us out non-alcoholic drinks.

Live music on the weekends and a champagne sing-along toast adds to the uniqueness of the Palace.

FANTASTIC!! We stumbled upon this place when our GPS told us directions to a restaurant that no longer existed. We were looking at the menu when a lady walked in and told us it was a great meal...she said that she got engaged in this restaurant - that was enough for us so we went in. What luck - the food was awesome... everything from the 7 different flavored muffins to the meals! You have to try this place and my vote goes for the chicken marsala!

Meal was great. Service was great. However save your money on the drinks go to Joe's for a drink. The drinks were very weak. I had the pasta with crawfish it was excellent and my friend had the blackened pork chop which was excellent. Great muffins too.
