What a Great Surprise in Tulare!: When trying to find a nice place to meet my parents for a birthday dinner in-between Fresno and Bakersfield, I never thought I would find such a great (authentic Italian) restaurant like La Piazza. The food was excellent and even passed the test of my Italian mother who still makes her own sauce, gnocchi, and ravioli. The atmosphere was wonderful and every meal that was served to our party of 13 was fantastic. My husband and father-in-law loved the New York steak with gorgonzola sauce. All the pasta dishes were homemade with wonderful authentic sauces. They had a nice list of Italian wines by the glass and bottle. I also recommend trying dessert. The Tiramasu and Creme Carmel were out of this world. I'm so happy to find this place. Hopefully, they will be around for a long time.
User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsVERY VERY NICE: I have been here 3 timse and it has quickly become one of my favorites when in Tulare. If you are looking for great Italian food this choice is a must.
