    If it wasn't the only place to see any type of civilization in Porterville after 10:00PM they would have been out of business a long time ago. Aside from the ridiculous $5 cover to the overpriced drinks where alcohol is almost non existent it's a decent bar. I no longer live in town and each time I come home I notice a dramatic decline in the attendance at the Brickhouse. I can't decide if this is from the declining economy or the poor service from the bouncers/ bartenders/ management. I have been treated with more hospitality in lower class bars where I know absolutely nobody than at the Brickhouse where I grew up with many of its employees.

    its honestly the best bar and grill in the central valley. (I also met my girlfriend there)
