User Rating: 2 out of 5 starsShould be better than it is. Convenient for Lemoorians this place has the opportunity to rock our world. However I consistently find the food bland. Regardless of the dish (i.e. Kung Pao or Almond Chicken) the 'juice' is nearly indistinguishable. It's like they take the Almond Chicken and throw a couple of peanuts on top as if we don't care as long as it's edible. I have visited several 'one location' Chinese restaurants like this one (in L.A.) and the difference is startling. The depth of flavor is missing here, spicy is bland and prices are not worth the taste, in my opinion. No doubt people will still show up - run by nice folks to be sure - but I hope things change so I don't have to forego a nice Chinese dining experience for my trips out of town.

Don't let the outdated atmosphere fool you... as you get alot of home cooked oriental food for the money... the money they could of put into updating. We would especially recommend the potstickers, lemon chicken, and chop suey's ... and to have an ice cream sundae for desert as they use "Superior Dairy" ice cream. All their food is cooked up just for "you" as they can adjust the spicyness just for your liking. There is no food sitting in a warming tray here as you can see the husband and wife team cook through the opening. This is a place you can still afford to take the whole family and if you go often they remember who you are and even what you like to eat.

P.S. One reason we love this place is I am not able to buy the ingredients and make these dishes for less (i.e. it is cheaper to go to this place than it is to make it at home).

On the contrary; this was the best Chinese Food I have eaten in the entire Lemoore Area and the waitresses are wonderful.
Kev, you just need to be shown what good Chinese food is like and you would probably agree with the reviewer.
