It looks ok from the outside, and the pitch is good, but once you move in you get treated bad. I have had water heater, heating, and air conditioning issues for over a year without any help. The ac is very old and too small for the area it has to cool. The water heater is 15+ years old, is not insulated, is rusted and you cant get hot water in the winter. The heater works off the water heater, and it take hours to warm the unit up. I was told utilities run $50-100 a month depending on usage when I moved in. Summer brought $200 electricity bill a month, winter brought $80 gas bill.

I was told my unit was cleaned when I moved in, all the cleaning lady did was pour bleach in the toilets, and a strong smelling cleaner in the sink/tubs. I spent multiple days cleaning every surface of the unit. Including rat/mouse poop in the cabinets, and dead insects/spiders. The tub and sink didn't drain right, I was lucky enough to be the one that pulled the hair out of the drain from the last tenant.

As stated by others, the management has run the unit into the ground. The front gate works for a few days, and wont work for over a month. Random people that do not live in the unit will drive in and scope out cars/units at various hours of the day or night. There are a lot of gang members and/or there family in the unit. These gang members don't have an issue with doing drugs and drinking out in the open, and throwing gang signs at people in the unit. There has been fights, domestic issues, property damage as a result of the trash that management has been allowed to live in the complex.

I also agree with the two people below me i do not recomend anyone to rent from these Apt. there are not good. they will cheat you in any way there are bad. DO NOT RENT THESE APT. its dirty not kept up with the pools are dirty adults do dirty things in there kids do the bathroom in it, pump doesnt work, an they HAVE BAD "MANAGMENT" the manager will rip you off with your deposit money. they do not return your calls or messages you leave an they do not anwswer the phone at business hrs, an never in the office when there supposed to be in at business hrs. I TOTALLY AGREE 1000 PERCENT WITH THE TWO PEOPLE BELOW ME!!!!!!!!!!! DO NOT RENT FROM WILLOW LAKE IF YOU DONT NOT WANT TO BE CHEATED WITH YOUR DEPOSIT MONEY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I would not recommend this place. I moved out because the pools were always dirty, closed, empty, the main gate was normally broken. The tennis courts are just a slab of cement, the beach volleyball is just a sand pit for cats to use as a litter box. The lights throughout the complex are always burned out, kids constantly knocked on door late at night and would run off in the dark. Management does not hold up their words. When you need a repair, it is done as cheap as possible, if done at all. Hot water heater busted over a weekend, flooded the outside yard, no after hours contact number available, ran my gas bill up over $200 which normally ran $30, management would not help me out with this bill. I do not recommend this place at all.
