Since 1992 we have always had "high" end auto's, wether it was one of 3 Lincolns, a caddy, a Jag,and a lexus, a Benz. Each of those dealers support thier vehicles and have a good working knowledge of vehicles in thier care. This was not the case at Giant, Judge your salesmans answers,if he goes for support,he is being genuine.
Also I am cautious that such a push sale came at the closure with the finance man wanting to push the extra warrenty. A warrenty is understandable but when he tells horror stories of his own experiences,and the sights that of others (in Recognizable fields) makes me leary of the product and the confidence of those selling it. He was like a KIRBY salesman, remember other organizations sell extended warrenties, don't fall for the genuine parts speach,he has no confidence in the first place.
