User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsWhen I first visited Bakersfield (and later moved here)I was referred to this sandwich shoppe. I was thrilled with my chicken salad sandwich, and have since frequented weekly, with no disappointments. I was slowly served recently, and received a piece of thier chocolate cake as an apology! Wow, even the cake is delicious. I can't recommend any of the foods, because I love them all. None stand out as the best; each selection has been excellent. The chili is outstanding, the sandwiches freshly made, and served with a smile. Great experience! Every time.

Simply the best sandwich shop in town. I have tried numerous sandwiches and salads and have never had anything but great food and service. You can tell they use quality meats and cheeses. Their desserts are also wonderful. Great cheesecake, chocolate cake with a cream cheese frosting and do not forget the wonderful cookies. You can tell they are baked fresh daily. I think I know where I am going for lunch today...
