Tahoe Joe's Famous Steak House

I tried Tahoe Joe's when I got upset with the poor service and food at Outback. This was even worse. Steak, of course, was good, but the service was so bad that we refuse to go back. I had ordered a side of mushrooms and then noticed I would get mushrooms with the steak, so asked the waitress to cancel the side order. She refused, saying she couldn't do it...even though she hadn't left the area yet. (Hoping for a larger bill amount, hence a bigger tip???) She continued to be rude and out of sight most of the time. No refills on drinks, no desert suggestions, no caring of customer. Luckily, there are other places to eat in Bakersfield.

Delicious food, but takes forever when it's busy!!! Staff is not always professional and polite, but the waiters/waitresses that are make up for the ones that aren't.

Tahoe Joes is a relaxed, wonderful eating experience!! Everytime we dine there we are never disappointed, friendly servers, appetizers are more like a meal and the steaks and seafoods,, oh my goodness, they are cooked exactly to order and so flavorful, i have tried the halibut and rib eye, as well as the joe's steaks, the shrimp appetizers are incredible, and not to mention the cheesecake,, sin,, its too good to be described by words, go,, try the wonders of tahoe joes, you wont be disappointed but they are busy so be ready to wait a little bit,, i usually go early or after the huge dinner rush,, but once you have tasted you will not mind a wait for the delicious dinners!!!
