Oasis Restaurant

I came to the restaurant based on the reviews posted here. Five stars for goodness sake! A one-star rating is being over generous of me.

Ordered lamb and chicken curry gyros and the herbal fries. The pita bread for both gyros was burned and were as hard as wood and, thus, not eaten. The chicken curry was so salty my partner did not eat more than a taste. The fries were oversalted too. I could barely tolerate the fries, but my partner was unable. What a waste of $30! Will avoid this restaurant if I ever return to SLO.

Delicious Mediterranean food! Everything is made fresh from scratch after just you order. I had the curried bean soup and honey beef wrap. The tea is also great and will lift your spirit to euphoria as you sip and wait for your food. A perfect spot for relaxing from a long day of shopping in downtown SLO!

I have written several reviews for this restaurant but it seems they never make it for everyone to read! I have been visiting this restaurant since it opened and I really enjoy the food. It is all good! I noticed a review from a customer that said he has yet to met one of the owners. Well, the blonde waiting on you is an owner ... Just because she is fabulous about the service don't minimize her importance. How often do you see that level of dedication to a local business. I will keep going back -- the locals desire our business!
