User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsI had dinner here tonight, and the pizza is just plain wonderful!! The sauce tastes so fresh you would think they whipped up a batch of it just for your pizza, so it's obviously prepared daily. I had the Colossal (pick 6 items) with sausage, pepperoni, red onions, garlic, mushrooms, and olives. The fresh garlic was terrific (floss and brush afterwards, because it's plentiful!). The secret is fresh ingredients.
My only negative is I like thin crust, but I just ate less of the crust and more of the toppings. The crust, by the way, is delicious, too.
I found their price to be about the same as Rusty's Pizza here in Bakersfield, but the quality is much, much, much better.
The side salad with their homemade ranch dressing was great, too. Made with romaine instead of iceberg lettuce.
If you love pizza, you really have to go here. Best I've had in a long time, and we eat pizza at least once a week.
User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsBest Pizza on the west coast: The Pizza and pasta dishes are out of this world. They also make a very good Beef and Pepper melt. The Plumberry pie is made from scratch and is to die for. Try the Alfredo Chicken Pizza, The Farfalla Primevera or the Tortalini. I am not just saying this because I worked there for three years, but because of the customers that are dedicated to good cooking.
User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsBEST PIZZA in TOWN: My first experience at Pumberrys was in 2003 and since then i have never even had the thought of going anywhere else. this place has excelent service and the PIZZA oh my there are no words to express how good it is. All i have to say is give it a try and i know you'll never go anywhere else again.
Although it is a bit more expensive it is diffenitly worth the cost. i have recommended this place to many friends and they have all thanked me later.
