    I love smoked fish and this place satisfied my craving. A "hole in the wall", this place is obviously loved by the locals who will sit in all weather on the plastic sidewalk chairs to eat the food. I loved the tacos I got. There were sweet little bits of apple in them... nice touch.

    Best smoked fish and view in town!: Jim Ruddell purchases fish caught fresh from Morro Bay and Cayucos. He then smokes it himself and creates the most amazing fish or pork tacos or sandwich's with his very special home made sauce. He also sells a variety of smoked delicacies (i.e., albacore, salmon, swordfish, oysters, chicken etc.), which disappear rapidly. The Smokehouse has a small deli like atmosphere, with tables outside so you have the ocean view while dinning. On Sunday afternoons, local musicians gather outside and entertain the diners with accoustical music. The only drawback would be no inside dinning. Costs are inexpensive and the food is wonderful!
