I have purchased 5 brand new toyotas from Toyota of Santa Maria, 2 priuses, 2 siennas and 1 corolla in the past 3 years. Why because they have the best prices around. Call the rest and they will beat the rest. Ask for Roger Solano the salesman, Carl is the sales manager to deal with. I only recommend these two because I have had good luck with them and they are honest, no dealer talk or mark ups.I recommend you do your price research and find the lowest legitimate price and they will match it or beat it. Toyota of Santa barbara is the only other dealer that can come close, but santa maria has beat them hands down. Toyota of SLO is a joke, they sell their cars at retail and if you ask for a deal they look at you like you must be kidding me. Their service dept. is another joke, bunch of idiots. I have received surveys from toyota of america and they have asked me if I have had personally had problems with toyota of SLO sales and service department. Their parts department is the only reason why I go there. As far as service is concerned, if you don't like dealer service, go find an independent shop, you can't screw up a toyota with oil / air filter services.

We've been going to Toyota of Santa Maria for five years-since we bought our new Toyotas and we have tolerated them. They push extra services to make more money. If you check your maintenance schedule they will always reccommend the severe schedule-which is not necessary. My wife just took her car there for an oil/filter change and tires rotated and ended up with a $120.00 bill. They wanted to change the air filter too. I can do that myself. Anyway, there prices are not cheap. The previous reviewer must be an employee. I think they have me deal with a certain guy in the service department because I don't just allow anything they want me to do. If I did I'd be paying mucho $$$$$ each time. We're going to find some place else to take our cars.

Superior Place to Get Your Car Fixed!: Always friendly and fair, Toyota of S.M. is the only place my husband and I will take our car from now on. They do a great job and the prices are reasonable. They are, by far, the nicest, best all-around, auto repair center we've ever been to. And no, I don't work for the company! lol
