User Rating: 1 out of 5 starsWe were sorely disappointed in the food and the service both. My fiance ordered the fish special and it smelled 10 days old. Sadly it tasted the same way. I had the prime rib which tasted ok but only 1/3 of the serving was not fat or unchewable. Service was slow and sometimes mysteriously silly. One of the staff near the end of our meal continued to want to raise the blinds as the sun was finally setting, but at the same time she was setting lit chimneys on the tables(make up your mind!)and having the customers pass them around to get them where she wanted them...(?) All in all, a complete disaster.

My family traveled up the coast for my birthday and found this wonderful little place for dinner. Coming from a big city it was strange to actually see the owner working and socializing with his customers, great asset! If you want both great food and talk, go here. The steaks are excellent, food was very fresh and wonderfully prepared, and HEY if you like DESSERT, try the "Peanutbutter Pie", loaded with calories, but who is thinking of that when you're on vacation. According to staff members, the owner makes it himself, when do you hear of that anymore? Well you will here. Anyways, excellent pie and again, food and surroundings are just as great. Have a memorable experience that you will never forget. Thanks for a perfect birthday dinner Old Stone.

OMG as the kids of today would say. This place is just superb. If you want a relaxing place with excellent food, OLD Stone Station is the place to go. My husband and I couldnt have picked a better place. The service is great, wine was delicious, our tuna stack was crazy delicious, and my husbands prime rib was the best he has ever had. If you are ever on the Central Coast of California, you must stop at this great place in Cambria for lunch or dinner, sit upstairs and enjoy your food while overlooking a beautiful view

I went there and had one of the best meal I ever had in Cambria. The steak was great. The service was great. Everything was above the standards. I don't think this guy went to the right restaurant. If I was this guy I would walk myself into on coming traffic.
