We have done two weddings at Cambria Pines Lodge and found the staff to be very helpful and the grounds were well mintained and made for great pictures.

I enjoy making the trip from the valley and can't wait for our next event at Cambria Pines.

My grandmother lived down the street from the lodge. When we were kids the biggest highlight was going to the pool they had, during the summer. It was open to the public then for a small fee. I also remember the peacocks roaming the grounds and feeding them. Since then, the lodge has changed. No more public pool and no more peacocks. The restaurant has gone downhill too. They used to have excellent food but now it is mediocre, at best. My last piece of prime rib was so tough I practically needed a chain saw. All the staff are nice and friendly, but the feel and look of the new lodge just doesn't compare to how it once was!

The lodging itself is just okay: it's cozy but it's a little old. My biggest complaint is that the walls are thin so you can hear your neighbors tv's and doors opening and closing. The staff is very nice and very helpful. What really gets the five stars is the restaurant: the food is amazingly good! They use organic vegetables from their own garden. Their portions are huge.
